Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Elite TCG you agree to these terms.

The service

Elite TCG provides tools to identify, value, organize and list trading cards. Values, trends, grade indications and offers are estimates based on public market data and automated analysis. They are not appraisals or guarantees, and you are responsible for your own buying, selling and grading decisions.

Your account

You must be 13 or older to hold an account and 18 or older to trade. Keep your sign-in method secure and do not share accounts. You are responsible for content you upload, including scans and photos, and you confirm you have the right to upload it. You can change your email and password, or delete your account and everything in it, from Settings.

Plans and billing

The Free plan has usage limits shown in the app. Elite Plus and Elite Pro are billed monthly or annually through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled from Settings. Canceling stops future charges. All payments, including subscriptions, per-listing fees, trade service fees and postage, are final and non-refundable unless required by law.

Marketplaces and the buylist

Connecting an eBay account authorizes us to create and end listings you request. Sales, shipping, fees and disputes are governed by that marketplace's terms.

The public Buylist page lets you offer cards to Ash, an independent card buyer who uses Elite TCG. Elite TCG is not the buyer, never receives the cards and does not handle payment. Buylist offers are quotes based on the condition you select; Ash confirms the final amount after inspecting the cards, and any sale is between you and Ash.

Trading between members

Elite TCG lets members propose and accept card trades with each other. Every trade is a private agreement between the two members involved. Elite TCG is not a party to any trade, does not act as broker, custodian, dealer or guarantor, never holds cards or trade money on either member's behalf, and never receives, inspects, grades, authenticates, stores, insures or forwards any card.

Values shown are estimates from third-party market data and may be inaccurate or out of date. Condition, grade and authenticity claims are made by the member offering the card. You are responsible for evaluating any trade before you accept it.

A trade becomes final and binding between the two members after both of you accept it. Elite TCG cannot cancel, reverse or refund a trade and does not mediate disputes between members. Elite TCG charges each member a service fee (3% of that member's side, minimum $1) after both members accept. Service fees and postage purchased through the service are non-refundable and remain owed whether or not the other member performs.

Each member ships their own cards directly to the other member and pays their own postage. Postage labels bought through the service are issued by EasyPost and paid to the carrier; the name and address you enter for a shipment are shared with the other member for that trade only. Packing, delivery, loss, damage, delay, misdelivery, insurance and carrier claims are between the shipping member and the carrier. Any cash portion of a trade is settled directly between the two members; Elite TCG does not move money between traders.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elite TCG and its owners have no liability for any loss, damage, claim or dispute arising from a trade, including non-delivery, counterfeit, altered or misdescribed cards, or the conduct of any member. Your remedies are against the other member and, where applicable, the carrier. By proposing or accepting a trade you confirm you are at least 18 (Elite TCG asks you to confirm this before you open Trade), that you own the cards you offer, and that the trade complies with the laws that apply to you.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no scraping, no attempts to access other members' data, no uploading unlawful content, no reselling access.

Trademarks

Pokémon and card names, artwork and set logos are trademarks of their respective owners. Elite TCG is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, eBay or TCGplayer.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from pricing estimates or marketplace transactions. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or discontinue features with notice in the app. You may stop using the service at any time; we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
